News Review 4
I know I said it last time, but this news review we did was the best one yet. We set up pretty quickly and everyone was ready to start by the time the first mod was over. The anchors did a great job and so did the camera people and sound people.I think my weather was my best yet. But, I messed up the radar by saying the rain was coming from the east. I barely reached the wrong way. I think it is more interesting when i mess up though because it makes it more interesting and funny. This newscast was almost perfect.

News Review 3
The last news review we did was the best one yet. We set up pretty quickly and everyone was ready to start by the time the first mod was over. The anchors did a great job and so did the camera people and sound people. Even with the Mr. Maynard story in the middle, the news cast is under 8 minutes, which is a perfect time. I think I did a pretty good job, except I forgot about the radar and I still reached the wrong way sometimes. I think it is more interesting when i mess up because it makes it funny. The only mess up in the newscast was when i walked on and I wasn't on the screen.

Movie Review #2
Casi Casi
The movie that I’m doing a review on is
called Casi Casi. It’s a Spanish film that takes place in a catholic school in
Puerto Rico. In the movie, Emilio, the main character, has a crush on the most
popular girl in school and tries to impress her by running for class President.
It is supposed to be like Mean Girls, but it’s not even close. The movie was
cheesy, the actors were bad, the plot made it confusing, and overall it just
wasn't funny. The whole movie was cheesy from start to finish. There were lots
of jokes that were supposed to be funny and witty, but they weren't. There were
scenes in the movie that would just never happen in real life. In fact, the
whole plot of the story would never happen in a real life high school. The actors
weren't awful, but they definitely weren't good. I feel that each actor fit
their character and their character’s roles well, but most of them just were
not good actors. The plot of the movie made it very confusing. There were so
many characters and it kept jumping back and forth to different settings, which
made it very confusing and hard to follow. The technical elements of the movie
were one of few good things about the movie. The setting, light, sound, music, etc.
were all done well. I will definitely not watch the movie again and I wouldn't recommend
it.

TKAM Movie Review
To Kill A Mockingbird is by far my favorite black and white movie, which is why I chose to write a movie review on it. Once you start watching the movie, you wont be able to stop, and if you watch it once, you will want to watch it again. There are many reasons why I love this movie, but a few are: the characters, the theme, and the influence it has on people watch the movie.
The characters in the movie are outstanding and most of them, you will never forget. How could someone forget names like Boo Radley, Scout, and Jem? My favorite characters in the movie are Atticus, Boo, and Scout. There is no way anyone could dislike Atticus. I like that he is a great father and raises his kids very well, and also that he is so strong and is not afraid to fight for what he believes in. Boo might be scary and mysterious in the beginning, but at the end, he is a definite hero. Scout is a young, adventurous tomboy who is sweet and obedient and has a giant heart.
The overall theme of this movie is the coexistence of good and evil in the world. This movie takes place a long time ago, during the Great depression where this theme was universal. An example of good vs. evil in the movie is when Tom Robinson, an kind innocent black man was accused of rape and Atticus, the lawyer chosen for the case, takes Tom’s side and fights for him the best he can even though he’s white.
This movie has many great influences on people after they watch the movie. It will teach you about family and friendship, and most importantly standing up for what you know is right. It also teaches you about the history of when it takes place and how terrible a problem racism and slavery were back then. It really makes you feel grateful of how much better times are today than what they were back then.
To Kill A Mockingbird is an intense, influential movie that teaches you many lessons and makes you want to watch it again and again. It’s impossible to dislike the movie. The actors are fantastic and all of the elements in the movie fit perfectly, like where it takes place, which is Maycomb Alabama, and the characters and how they act and talk.

News Review
This news
cast was our first one that went live which is pretty cool. I still think setup
was a little slow and it took us over a mod to set up. The anchors did a great
job, especially Jevan who had to fill in for Brady. Personally, I think I
definitely looked at the screen the whole time which made it obvious that I was
reading off of it. Also, I said the wrong low temperature because I couldn't
see it. I loved that the credits were in pink which was my suggestion. And Mr. Schick
spelled my last name wrong, but it’s all good. But overall I think it went
really good.

News review
I think our
first shot of going live with our news was alright. Everybody was prepared for
their jobs and it was going pretty good except for JP looking at the wrong
camera. Also, it took us way too long to set up, which is why we didn’t get to
the weather and sign off. Even though I didn’t get to do the weather, I was
still prepared. I think the only things we need to change for next time is
getting set up quicker and make sure the anchors know which camera to look at. Personally,
I think I need to give more information about the weather besides the
temperature and whether it will be sunny or cloudy. I also think I need to be
more relaxed and outgoing and make it exciting and less boring.
